Even when immigration and refugee issues are not front-page news, we press government leaders to:
- Make sure policies and practices on refugees,
immigrants, asylum seekers and people in detention
are fair and humane.
- Set a generous admissions level for the number
of refugees allowed into to our country each year.
- Assure adequate U.S. funding for overseas and
domestic programs on refugees
