Matching Gifts

Many employers offer a corporate match to their staff members’ charitable donations to encourage philanthropy and increase their support of nonprofit organizations. Some companies have a minimum gift amount, but most make it easy for employees to participate in their matching gift programs.

When you make a donation to Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service, make sure to ask your human resources or payroll department if your employer offers a corporate match. This simple act can make your charitable contribution go even farther in service to immigrants and refugees.
