Through technical assistance and grants, Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service works through a network of partners to provide vital service to and advocacy for migrants at risk, including asylum seekers and torture survivors held in the U.S. immigration detention system.
The Asylum and Immigration Grant Program, a joint initiative of LIRS and the Presbyterian Church (USA), saves lives, combats gross injustice and engages the faith community in service.
