Join Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service (LIRS) on Thursday, June 2 at 7:30 p.m. for Stand Up, Speak Up: An Interfaith Prayer Vigil for Ukraine. Featuring speakers from diverse backgrounds and faith traditions, testimonies from local Ukrainians, and advocacy opportunities, the vigil offers an opportunity for all to gather together and demonstrate support for our Ukrainian neighbors.
The Vigil is a part of LIRS’ annual Stand Up, Speak Up program, which brings together interfaith communities across the country to lift a unified voice to welcome and advocate for immigrants and refugees coming to the United States. We invite you to stand up for welcome and speak up alongside our newest neighbors
