Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service (LIRS) works with the Office of Refugee Resettlement, Division of Children’s Services (ORR/DCS) to promote the safety and well-being of unaccompanied children (UC) apprehended in the United States. We serve UCs and their families through our network community-based approach built on the strengths, assets, and leadership of our local partners in targeted communities with high rates of release.
