Today is the big day!

The Senate is poised to vote on S.744. So your voices are needed to remind the senators of the importance of taking this historic step forward for immigration reform.

I know that each of you has done incredible things at the state level to ensure that we reach the goal of fair and humane immigration reform. Thank you! In this final stretch, we can’t afford to lag. So please take a moment today to write or call your elected officials.

Call 1-866-940-2439 to be connected with your senators.
You can also call the Capitol Switchboard: (202) 224-3121 or find Senators’ direct lines at www.senate.gov.

When you call, tell them your city, state and congregation, and that you support immigration reform. Specifically tell them how you feel about the Senate’s bipartisan immigration bill S.744.

You can take action online at the LIRS Action Center  to join us in asking for immigration reform based on our principles: a roadmap to citizenship, family unity, protection for vulnerable migrants and refugees, fair and humane enforcement, and safeguards for migrant and U.S. citizen workers.

Thank you again for your perseverance. We stand together with immigrants and refugees at this historic moment!
