We’re excited to welcome Folabi Olagbaju, who is managing the LIRS campaign for the Maryland DREAM Act referendum!
Folabi is an experienced strategic grassroots campaign manager, having spent the last 13 years with Amnesty International USA as Regional/Campaign Director. Prior to that, he worked with the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) as an organizer. Since 1992, Folabi has been active in the global social justice movement linking environmental, labor, corporate accountability, and human rights issues in the United States.
Folabi will be working through the end of November to mobilize Lutheran people and congregations in Maryland to support the Maryland DREAM Act. He’ll also be connecting Lutheran efforts on the campaign with those of statewide coalition partners including other faith communities and CASA de Maryland.
