imageYesterday, the House of Representatives approved Department of Homeland Security funding through September. However, immigrants are still in jeapordy due to a recent Texas ruling halting November’s Executive Actions. Millions of DREAMers, children eligible for Deferred Action for Child Arrivals (DACA), and parents eligible for Deferred Action for Parental Accountability (DAPA) will be affected if the Executive Actions continue to be blocked. Despite these tenuous circumstances, immigrants are succeeding and overcoming all odds.
