Congress might be on recess, but on the immigration reform front, much is happening in Washington and across the country. In this week’s Top Picks, I’d especially like to highlight a post by Walter Ewing on the connection between border security and immigration reform.
- Immigration Impact’s Wendy Feliz predicts potential votes for and against immigration in “Counting the Votes on Immigration Reform in the House.”
- In “Arizona Governor Jan Brewer Still Cannot Connect the Dots Between Immigration Reform and Border Security,” for Immigration Impact, Walter Ewing lays out why the two go hand-in-hand.
- Van Le of America’s Voice explains why “Washington’s State Rep. Dave Reichert is 22nd Republican To Come out for Citizenship.” Rep. Reichert’s decision.
- Colorlines’ Aura Bogado provides you with “Nine Things You Didn’t Know About the Dream 9.”
