LIRS on MSNBC: Refugee Admissions

LIRS President & CEO Krish O’Mara Vignarajah joined MSNBC’s “American Voices with Alicia Menendez” to talk about recent changes to refugee policy.

The global need for resettlement has never been greater, and the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program is lifesaving — for children forcibly conscripted into armies, for LGBTQ people tortured for who they love, for religious minorities persecuted simply for how they worship. With so many lives on the line, it’s time for the U.S. to reclaim its humanitarian responsibility and reassume its global leadership. Watch the interview below:
