LIRS Programs Funded through the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families:

  • Matching Grant Program - Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service received $13,576,200 through competitive funding through the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families, Grant # 90RV0071-03. The project will be financed with 66% of Federal funds and 33% by non-governmental sources.*
  • Preferred Communities Program - Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service received $2,092,421 through competitive funding through the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families, Grant # 90RP0113-01. The project will be financed with 100% of Federal funds.*
  • Higher – A Technical Assistance Program - Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service received $225,000 through competitive funding through the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families, Grant # 90RB0049-02. The project will be financed with 100% of Federal funds.*
